Attending court can be a daunting and overwhelming experience. Court support for women and their children is delivered through the Court Program, where our workers provide individual support, advocacy, information and referrals if they are attending Warrnambool Magistrates’ Court due to family violence.
The Court Program attends Warrnambool Magistrates’ Court on Thursdays for police application hearings. Timeframes are dependent on the number of clients attending court on any given day. The court program can be for people who are already engaged with our service or anyone who attends court during the Intervention Order court day.
